Chapter 1

Chad was a bartender. He never thought he’d be anything but, But then he’d met Stella.

She was the best woman he had ever met, and she was his worst nightmare.

She came into the bar looking for trouble…and she had met him.

Chad looked at Stella, seeing the blond hair and the blue eyes.

She looked at Chad, hoping he’d notice her, and Chad couldn’t take his eyes off the gorgeous beauty.

Chad touched the beautiful skin on her face, and the magical eyes turned to look his way.

He was mesmerized by their blue beauty, and he felt as if he had never seen, and would never see anything more special or more precious.

”I haven’t seen you around here before.”



She smil ed, “No my family just moved here from Mars.”

Chud stared at her… “So you’re one of those precious few that got to try out life on another planet.”

She laughed.

“Tell you what hon, it’s not that different from Earth.”

He stared at her “Then what brings you to a still boring, and grungy bar on Earth?”

She looked at the floor, “Despite everything…Earth is still home.

“All these things that humans have accomplished, and we’re still stuck on the same planet, with the same tricks.”

He poured her a beer. “No m\atter what, us humans still come back to these same old vices: beer and water.”

She looked at him strangely...

“Well water is a necessity.”

Chad laughed. “So is beer!”

The pair looked at each other, and realized beer had brought them together.
